Emiko Davies is an Australian-Japanese food writer, photographer and cookbook author based in Italy. She has written six cookbooks, including her recently released book, Gohan: Everyday Japanese Cooking: Memories and Stories from My Family's Kitchen, which is about the Japanese cuisine of her upbringing.
Along with her Tuscan sommelier husband, she recently renovated a new home in a charming hilltop village between Florence and Pisa and together they have opened their own natural wine bar and cooking school at Enoteca Marilu.
