Bitter sweet, premium matcha from Nishio City in Aichi is used to make this silky smooth Italian-inspired panna cotta. Nishio City is one of Japan's leading matcha producing regions, and carries a regional brand trademark authorized by the Japan Patent Office. It is characterized by its dark green color, elegant aroma, and rich flavor. Matcha imparts a mellow earthiness with a slight bitterness, which is balanced perfectly with the subtle sweetness of sugar, to create this delicious Japanese twist on the classic Italian-inspired dessert.
