It starts with high-quality bonito flakes made from skipjack tuna caught in Yaizu’s deep-sea fisheries. The soy sauce amplifies the natural umami of the bonito flakes while sesame seeds give the seasoning a touch of nuttiness and crunch. The resulting seasoning adds a mildly smokey flavor and crispy “pari pari” texture to everything from rice to french fries.
