Tea (茶 orcha) is intertwined with Japanese culture and enjoyed at almost every occasion, from daily life to the precision and beauty of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, known as the “way of tea”.

Although the majority of tea produced in Japan is its high-quality green tea, the country also boasts a wide range of specialty teas, both of which have been curated for you in this Care Package. We include an English brochurewhich highlights what makes our products unique, the stories behind our local producers and their traditions, as well as brewing instructions and full color recipes.

Our Japanese Green and Specialty Teas: “Ryu” Care Package gets its name from the kanji流 (ryu) which means “flow”. We hope that you will find a calming pause as you enjoy this curation of authentic Japanese teas.
