RECIPE: Sushi Vinegar Tartar Sauce
In Japan, tartar sauce typically includes boiled eggs and our Yuzu Sushi Vinegar adds the perfect amount of mellow acidity and citrus flavor. Use for fish or fish and chips, chicken fingers or chicken nanban (chicken fried in a light egg batter), in sandwiches or served baked on toast.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 50g pickles (chopped)
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise (Japanese or western)
- 2 tsp Yuzu Sushi Vinegar
Instructions
- Boil the eggs, peel and chop in a bowl or mash with the back of a fork.
- Add the chopped pickles to the eggs and thoroughly mix in the mayonnaise and Yuzu Sushi Vinegar.
