RECIPE: Kiriboshi Daikon Coleslaw
Kiriboshi daikon adds a rich flavor and chewy texture to this creamy coleslaw that’s perfect as a side dish or to bring along for a picnic.
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
- 100g cabbage (shredded)
- ½ package kiriboshi daikon
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- ¼ tsp salt*
- ½ Tbsp grain mustard
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix the mayonnaise, salt and mustard.
- Add the shredded cabbage to the bowl and mix well.
- Add the kiriboshi daikon to the bowl and mix well while unraveling.
- Let sit for at least 30 mins to allow the flavors to absorb (we recommend leaving it for 2hrs).
