RECIPE: Kiriboshi Daikon Coleslaw

Kiriboshi daikon adds a rich flavor and chewy texture to this creamy coleslaw that’s perfect as a side dish or to bring along for a picnic.

Servings: 2


  • 100g cabbage (shredded)
  • ½ package kiriboshi daikon
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • ¼ tsp salt*
  • ½ Tbsp grain mustard


  1. In a large bowl, mix the mayonnaise, salt and mustard.
  2. Add the shredded cabbage to the bowl and mix well. 
  3. Add the kiriboshi daikon to the bowl and mix well while unraveling. 
  4. Let sit for at least 30 mins to allow the flavors to absorb (we recommend leaving it for 2hrs).
