RECIPE: Yuzu Kiwi Smoothie


Bright and fruity, this yuzu kiwi smoothie is refreshing and delicious. Our Frosted Yuzu Jam and Yuzu Syrup add signature citrus to sweet-tart kiwi. Customize it any way you like by adding frozen berries, fresh mint, or a splash of lemon or lime.

Servings: 2

 

Ingredients:


  • 3-4 ripe kiwis 

  • 1 cup coconut water (can substitute with sparkling water) 

  • 4-5 ice cubes

  • 1 Tbsp Frosty Yuzu Jam*

  • 3 Tbsp Yuzu Syrup*

  • Maple syrup, honey or agave (as desired) (for extra sweetness)

 

 

Optional Add-ins


  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves (for a refreshing twist)

  • ½ cup frozen blueberries, strawberries or pineapple (for a fruity flavor)

  • Splash of lemon or lime juice (for additional tang)


 

Instructions:


  1. Thoroughly wash the kiwi and remove the skin. Slice in half or quarters. 

  2. Place the kiwi pieces, coconut water, ice cubes, and any optional add-ins into a blender.

  3. Blend the ingredients until smooth. Scrape down the sides, and blend again to ensure everything is well-blended.

  4. Add the Frosted Yuzu Jam, Yuzu Syrup and maple syrup, honey or agave if desired and blend again. Serve while nice and ice cold!
