Kokoro Care offers all-natural, regional products made by local farmers and artisans in Japan, many of whom have passed down centuries-old techniques and recipes from generation to generation. By purchasing our products, you are helping to preserve these time-honored traditions while connecting with the stories of the people creating them. All of our products can be enjoyed with peace of mind as they are made without artificial chemicals, MSG or high fructose corn syrup.

Part of what makes Japanese cuisine so special is its celebration of local foods that change with the seasons. Shun (旬), the Japanese word for "in season", refers to the time when ingredients are at their peak freshness and taste.
Our Seasonal Subscription Package allows you to experience this spirit of “shun” at home. Each season, we thoughtfully source hand-crafted seasonal foods, from snacks to sweets, teas, sauces, seasoning, ready-to-eat items and more, all made by local Japanese farmers and artisans, to create a package that perfectly showcases the special seasons in Japan.

What's included this season:
From June 1 to Aug 31, we're celebrating the long hot days of summer with our Summer Seasonal Package. In Japan, sour and spicy foods are often enjoyed to help beat the heat and humidity. Our Summer Seasonal Package features traditional Japanese ingredients such as shichimi togarashi (seven spice powder), ginger, and grated daikon, as well as unique local finds such as sugar ume (Japanese plum), honey yuzu peels, and spicy yuzu citrus ponzu to help you stay cool this summer! How can I find out more about the products included?
You can find more information about each product, including product descriptions, ingredients, dietary information and suggested uses/recipes, at Seasonal Subscription Package.
Can I choose/change the products included in my package?
We thoughtfuly curate the best seasonal products of the season and unfortunately subsitutions and changes are not permitted.
When do the products change for next season?
The products change every three months on the first of the month (December, March, June and September) to match the change in seasons:
・Our Winter package is available in December, January and February.
・Our Spring package is available in March, April and May.
・Our Summer package is available in June, July and August.
・Our Fall package is available in September, October and November.
Can I send this as a gift?
Absolutely! Simply place the order using the recipient's shipping information at check out. You can send this as a subscription using the "Subscribe" option which can be canceled at anytime or as a "One-time purchase".

We ship to most countries worldwide. Please visit our FAQs page for more details.
When will my package ship?
We ship packages within a week from when the order is placed.
Packages are shipped via OCS + USPS/Canada Post to the US and Canada, and Japan Post + your local country carrier for all other destinations aside from Japan. Packages can take 2-4 weeks to arrive based on local custom clearance times. Duties and import taxes are included for shipments to the US and Canada.
Packages for delivery in Japan are shipped via either Japan Post or Yamato and typically take 1-3 days to arrive.

How much is shipping?
Free shipping is included for all subscription packages (including duties for packages shipped to the US). Duties and custom clearances fees for all other countries will be charged upon delivery according to the individual country's import laws. Please see our FAQs page for more details.
When will my subscription renew?
Your subscription will renew every three months on the same day of the month the original order was made.
How can I manage my subscription (Ie update shipping address, payment info, etc.)?
You can manage all your information by simply logging into your account.
Can I skip a package or pause my subscription?
Yes! You can easily skip a package or pause your subscription:
1. Simply log into your account.
2. On the Order history page, scroll down to Subscriptions.
3. Click on Active.
4. Click on Show more -> at the bottom of the subscription you would like to cancel.
5. Click Skip, Pause or Cancel.
How can I cancel my subscription?
We’re sorry to hear that you would like to cancel your subscription and welcome any feedback. You can easily skip a package or pause your subscription if you prefer. To skip, pause or cancel your subscription:
Simply log into your account.
1. On the Order history page, scroll down to Subscriptions.
2. Click on Active.
3. Click on Show more -> at the bottom of the subscription you would like to cancel.
4. Click Skip, Pause or Cancel.
