Indigo, also known as Japanese blue, is most commonly known for its vibrant blue color. However, it’s also said to carry antibacterial properties while being mild on the skin, making it an ideal ingredient in soap.
This beautiful indigo blue soap is made in the rural areas of Tokushima Prefecture using indigo that has been cultivated from the producer’s own farm.
They use a classic cold-pressed method to combine it with camelinia oil, shea butter and jojoba oil, essential oils that help to both clean and moisturize your skin. Lavender oil, sandalwood oil and patchouli oil are also added to provide a mellow floral scent.
Ideal for sensitive skin, this soap can be used on your face and body.
Ingredients: Olive oil, water, coconut oil, sodium hydrate, camellia oil, shea butter, palm oil, indigo essence, jojoba oil, lavender oil, patchouli oil, litsea cubeba oil
