These candied yuzu peels are the Japanese answer to the candied orange peel. Yuzu has become one of the most popular and iconic flavors or Japan and for good reason; it is a unique citrus fruit best described as a mix between a tart lemon, a sweet mandarin orange, and a fragrant grapefruit. These treats strike just the right balance between the sweetness of honey and the tart, acidic notes of the yuzu peel.
