I ordered the October monthly bite package as a gift for my husband. Initially, there were significant delays due to customs, and I was contacted to pay fees that amounted to the original cost of the package plus shipping. It was quite frustrating, especially since this made it nearly impossible for customers in Spain like myself to purchase without incurring hefty extra costs. Also part of this frustration is also due on how the mailing and customs in Spain work, I had to do a lot of bureaucracy, so this is nothing to do with Kokoro.

However, after expressing my concerns, Kokoro Care Packages' customer service reached out promptly. They sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and informed me that they are actively working on solutions to prevent such issues for international customers like myself in the future.

I truly appreciate their good post-service and commitment to customer satisfaction, and I love what Kokoro Care offers and the unique products they provide so I'm sure that with their efforts, future international deliveries will be way smoother.

I purchased the Showa era box. Arrived quickly and it did not disappoint. A nice mix of condiments, ready-to-eat snacks, and ones that were fun to cook. As an 80s baby, it was fun to experience the flavors people were eating in Japan during that era. I actually have a Japanese market close to me, and they didn't have one item that was in this care package! So many subscription boxes out there contain mass-produced things.
