RECIPE: Homemade Spicy Oroshi (Spicy Grated Daikon Radish)

The vibrant spice and refreshing flavor of this traditional Japanese condiment make it perfect for pairing with summertime dishes like salads, seafood, and grilled meat. Using freeze-dried grated daikon, known as oroshi, and chili paste makes it easy to prepare this spicy and flavorful oroshi in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients:
● 1 pcs Freeze Dried Daikon Oroshi (Grated Japanese Radish)*
● 30-45ml (2 Tbsp) water
● 1-2 Tbsp chilli paste*
● Sea salt, to taste
● Lemon or lime juice, to taste (optional)
Instructions:
1. Combine 2 Tbsp (30-45ml) of water with the freeze-dried grated daikon and stir to combine.
2. Let the freeze-dried grated daikon rehydrate, then add the chilli paste. Mix to combine and season with sea salt. To add a refreshingly tangy taste, you can also add a squeeze of lemon or lime juice. Serve alongside salads, sashimi, fried foods, or grilled meat as a refreshing condiment.
