Okonomiyaki is one of Japan's most iconic dishes. Loosely translated to okonomi "what you like" + yaki "grilled," this is the perfect gluten free and vegan flour blend to make a delicious savory pancake (also called a "Japanese pizza") to share with family and friends. Just mix it into a batter and combine with the vegetables and protein you like most, cook it over a griddle, and top it off with okonomiyaki sauce (similar to a thick Worcestershire sauce), Japanese mayonnaise, katsuobushi (bonito/skipjack tuna) flakes, aonori (seaweed flakes), and pickled red ginger and you're ready to dig in to the perfect Japanese comfort food!

Suggested Uses: Combine the okonomiyaki mix with 140ml of water. Mix until smooth. Add your favorite vegetables and cooked protein. Mix to combine well. Cook on in a frying pan or on a griddle on medium heat, flipping once until both sides are light brown (about 4 mins per side). Serve hot with okonomiyaki sauce and any of your favorite toppings, and be sure to enjoy with family and friends!
Substitutions: Can also be used to make takoyaki!
