RECIPE: Garlic Yuzu Kosho Pan-Fried Chicken

This delicious dish comes together quickly and easily with just two simple seasonings! Garlic Yuzu Kosho adds a kick of bright aromatic flavors and spice, while mentsuyu instantly adds a touch of rich umami flavor. It can be served as a side dish or enjoyed as a snack.

Ingredients:

300g (~11 oz) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tsp Garlic Yuzu Kosho

2 tsp mentsuyu*

1 Tbsp vegetable oil (rice oil preferred)

1 piece Tokyo negi (green onion), sliced
Instructions:

In a large bowl, add chicken thighs, mentsuyu, and Garlic Yuzu Kosho. Mix well and let marinate for about 10 mins.

Add vegetable oil to a frying pan and heat over medium heat, then add the chicken thighs and pan-fry until golden brown.

Once browned, flip the chicken over and add the sliced negi (green onion). Cover and let steam over medium heat for about 3 mins.

Remove the lid and continue cooking until the excess water has evaporated. Enjoy as a side dish or snack.
