RECIPE: Bagna Cauda Mushroom Cheese Toasts
These quick and easy Bagna Cauda Mushroom Cheese Toasts are just the thing to keep you warm and cozy this winter! Topped with melted cheese and savory sauteed mushrooms, these hearty toasts are full of rich garlic flavor from the Wafu Bagna Cauda Sauce, a Japanese take on an Italian dipping sauce.
Servings: 6-8 slices
Ingredients:

6-8 slices of French bread

100g (~1 cup) sliced mushrooms (We recommend shiitake, portobello, or button mushrooms)

90g of onion (~½ cup) (sliced)

1 Tbsp olive oil

Pinch of salt

3 Tbsp Wafu Bagna Cauda Sauce

50g (~½ cup) shredded mozzarella cheese

Dried parsley flakes (to taste)

Black pepper (to taste)
Instructions:

In a frying pan, sauté the mushrooms and onion in olive oil over medium-high heat until tender. Season with a pinch of salt.

Spread the slices of French bread with the Wafu Bagna Cauda Sauce and top with the sautéed mushrooms.

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and bake in a toaster oven for 3-4 mins or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with dried parsley and black pepper and enjoy!
