  • Made using high-quality sugar and special red sake
  • Boasts a natural sweetness over typical soy sauce
  • Crafted in Kyushu, famous for it's delicious soy sauce

What sets this Wasanbon Sweet Soy Sauce apart from your traditional shoyu is that it is seasoned with wasanbon, a high-quality, artisanal sugar typically used to make wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) and a red sake (traditionally used in Kumamoto in New Year's celebrations) that has been aged for 2 years with wood ash. These additional flavors give this soy sauce a refreshing taste with a delicate natural sweetness unlike any you've tried before!
