Suggested Uses: Powdered dashi is a quick and convenient way to infuse your meals with Japanese flavors. Simply sprinkle it on your dishes as a seasoning or mix it with water to your desired strength to create a dashi soup stock that can be used in soups, dressings, and more. The dashi powder can also be combined with soy sauce to create an umami-rich pasta sauce that pairs well with a sprinkle of shichimi togarashi (seven-spice blend).
