Different than your typical mustard, karashi is a hot, spicy mustard with a pungent vinegary taste that adds a nice kick and flavor to dishes. This special karashi is 100% organic and full of flavor. We recommend enjoying with caution as this product is quite spicy!

Suggested Uses: Mix 2 tsp of karashi powder with 1.5 tsp of water and a pinch of salt. Wait 5-15mins for the flavors and heat to develop (the powder itself isn't spicy). Add a dollop of this mustard to tonkatsu (breaded fried pork cutlets), dumplings, hot pots, or natto (fermented soybeans).
Substitutions: Use as a substitute for hot sauce or mustard when looking for a little extra heat.
