Suggested Uses: Enhance your favorite dishes with a splash of umami-rich soy sauce. Perfect as a dipping sauce for sushi, sashimi or gyoza, or as a finishing touch on rice bowls, grilled vegetables, and noodles. Blend with ingredients like rice vinegar, miso, chili oil or yuzu kosho to create bold dressings, marinades and dipping sauces that elevate everyday meals.
Substitutions: For added depth and complexity, use in place of salt when cooking. Soy sauce also be used to substitute for Worcestershire sauce in some marinades, burgers or Caesar dressing. It can be used instead of balsamic vinegar in glazes or reductions where a savory, less sweet note is desired. Soy sauce can be used as a vegetarian substitute for fish sauce in stir-fries or dipping sauces.
