Made with a unique blend of kinako (roasted soybean flour) and beet sugar, both produced in Hokkaido, this lightly sweetened kinako au lait powder makes it easy to make cafe-quality drinks at home. Simply stir into hot or cold milk and enjoy. The kinako gives the drink a pleasant golden brown color and a lovely depth of roasted nutty flavor. The slight bitterness of the kinako is complimented by the mellow sweetness of the beet sugar, giving drinks and desserts a beautifully balanced flavor.
