Suggested Uses: To make a simple dashi (broth), add one packet to 200 ml of boiling water (adjust to taste). Use as a base for soups, sauces, noodles or risotto. You can also swap it for water when cooking grains or steaming vegetables for added umami. You can also sprinkle the vegan dashi directly onto dishes as a seasoning.
Substitutions: This dashi can be used in place of other broths, stocks, dashis or bouillon cubes to make your dishes vegan-friendly. You can also lightly sprinkle the dashi as a substitute for salt.
