This carefully crafted blend combines high-quality organic green tea from Uji, Kyoto, with fragrant sakura (cherry tree) leaves. The resulting tea is aromatic with a refreshing bitterness and underlying natural floral sweetness. The flavor of the tea is reminiscent of sakura mochi, a traditional Japanese springtime treat of a pink rice cake filled with sweet red bean paste and wrapped in a pickled sakura leaf.

Suggested Uses: Add 1 tea bag to 100-120 ml (~ 1/2 cup) of hot water and steep for 1-2 mins. Remove the tea bag and enjoy! Pairs well with Japanese sweets. For cold brew tea, add 3 tea bags to 300ml (~1 1/4 cups) water and chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before removing the tea bags and serving over ice.
Substitutions: Enjoy in place of your usual cup of tea or coffee for a boost of floral fragrance and flavor!
