Japanese-Style Soy Sauce Carbonara


This innovative twist on classic Italian carbonara will transport you to the tropical islands of Okinawa. The Mozuku Soy Sauce adds umami-rich flavors that enhance the salty taste of crispy bacon and fragrant olive oil while adding a silky smooth texture to the sauce. A dash ofShikuwasa & Red Pepper Island Hot Sauce also adds a bit of island flavor and heat!

Ingredients:


Instructions:
  1. Boil the spaghetti in salted water as per the instructions on the package.
  2. Separately, heat theolive oilin a frying pan, and sauté the bacon, onion and spaghetti in this order. Add the Mozuku Soy Sauce and a pinch of salt. Sauté briefly.
  3. Turn off the heat, crack in the eggs and stir until the eggs are gently cooked.
  4. Serve topped with a dash ofShikuwasa & Red Pepper Island Hot Sauce.
